uTorrent - fast and simple
Azureus is too complicated for such a simple task such as downloading files, unless your a major seeder or something...

Azureus but lately having problems with the Nat/ Firewall test. I keep getting this message.
Testing port 53617 ...
NAT Error - Connect attempt to XXX.XXX.XX.XXX:53617 (your computer) timed out after 20 seconds. This means your port is probably closed.
Does anybody how to fix? And sorry for hijacking.

Azureus is complicated, but after some work, I get better speeds. 10KB/s more is a big deal considering I'm on 512Kbps DSL, with max torrent speeds of around 40KB/s.

get this, if you use uTorrent, blocklist of about 200k+ IP addresses:
http://emulepawcio.sourceforge.net/nieuwe_site/Ipfilter_fakes/ipfilter.dat
It makes your downloads faster, more reliable and more "secure" against certain organizations ;)

PeerGuardian is probably the best/most updated IP blacklist, you can get a plugin to populate it into Azureus's IP filter called safepeer:
