Just a quick refresher...

When installing a new driver, should i delete the old ones?

How do i do that?
is there a driver cleaner program?

do i need to delete everything in the c:\nvidia folder as well?

Yip its always better to uninstall the older drivers.

Firstly download and install driver cleaner pro here > http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745

Then

Go into control panel > add or remove programs and uninstall the drivers this way, it will ask to reboot your system, before you reboot delete the NVIDIA folder on hard drive c: ......

Then

Reboot your system but this time into safe mode, run driver cleaner pro and from the drop list select nvidia and then click start .... wait a moment for it to finish and the reboot as normal! .. .you should now have a clean system, you are set to install your new latest drivers!
