Alright, im running the latest version of Linux Mandrake, and i have a nVidia card, i downloaded the latest nVidia drivers from the site, and copied them from my windows drive to my linux drive, and tried to RPM them, but came up with this error:

"Cant locaate module nvidia failed to install nvidia.o error: execution of % post scriplet from nvidia_kernel-1.0-4191.mdt90smp failed
exit status1"

what the hell does this mean?!

Which kernel are you using (uname -r)? What was the name of the file you downloaded?

When you say "newest", do you mean 4191? Because 4349 (the real newest driver) doesn't come in RPM format...

i tried 2 files, because i wasnt sure if i had the normal, or the enterprise, but the file names are:

nvidia_kernel-1.0-4191.mdk90enterprise.src.rpm
and
nvidia_kernel-1.0-4191.mdk90smp.src.rpm

Try 4349. Running the 4349 .run file will make it run through the list of kernels it has, and use the correct one, or build one if it doesn't have one prebuilt.
