Dunno if this has been posted before or if it's 100% true, but some decent speculation. I wouldn't mind holding off upgrading the 7600GT with a 9800GTS too!
Posted in the rumour mill I think.
"over two times faster than 8800GTX in real world games and applications"
OMG :drooling:

Well just "Awwww damn!" :D
"over two times faster than 8800GTX in real world games and applications"
OMG
See, that's why I said I dunno if it was 100% true or not. Could it REALLY be twice as fast?
This is why I skip generations. Looks like a 9800GTS or even a GTX will coincide with my Vista purchase :)
DX10.1 support LMAO... can we get a DX10 game RELEASED (as in not ported or patched) before we start worrying about DX10.1 !!!!!!

Article says the release is November 2007, that's the same month as UT3 and hopefully Crysis. Now I know what I want for Christmas!!! (santa2) :calls fiancee:

Hahaha! That's kinda true. I go ahead, let her have her way most times so when something really important comes up, I get my way. She was blown away that I made a decision on the wedding this past weekend lol.

Hmm... Me thinks i'll hold off the Sli until these babies arrive, then sell off my 8800GTX to my flatmate for about $400 so he can Sli lol

Sounds like 10.1 is what 10 should have been. nVidia kept the limitations of the 8 series very quiet didn't they!?! The buggers :o

I don't skip any of the new cards but the jump from 7 to 8 is huge.If the results for the 9 are what they say the will be it will be amazing to see that type of increase. I agree the 9 series will be when I jump to Vista also.
