View Full Version : GOTHIC3 with FSAA and BLOOM!

Patch to 1.12, install community patch 1.4. This is on an 8800gtx, Winxp and 162.18 beta drivers. Make a profile with Ntune or nvidia control panel. Override AA settings, AF app, V-sync force off. Rename your video folder to videobak (or whatever, you just cant let any videos load or it will bug out to the all black again). One last caviat, if you alt tab you lose the effect and it goes back to the all black bug again. I am so happy, I get to replay this game the way it should have been released. FSAA/BLOOM/Bugs fixed (thanks community pack).

The first pic looking at the stairs....those stairs were always horrible to look at with incredibly bad jaggies. Now nice and smooth!!

Oh well. Its not working in Vista with 163.11 drivers.

Worked for me in XP with the official drivers - games like this are the reason I will be dual booting for a while.

How is performance? Do the latest community patches fix a lot of problems?
