Stuck - Lost Planet

I don't get it. I am in the final battle of the game flying around in that mech and I can get him down to no health on his bar at all but he won't seem to die. Is there some trick to this? I just keep shooting those blue disc things at him and eventually he's down to no health - but then he refuses to die. :headexplode:

All I did was slash him with the swords up close and he went down. (Xbox360 verison)

Gah.. How do you slash him with the sword when using keyboard/mouse? I can't figure it out.

Hold either left or right click for a slash attack. the will finish'em!
