Compatibility Issue with Inno3D GeForce 6200 256ddr2 64bit

hello,

I am using an ASUS motherboard P5VDC-MX and bought an Inno3D GeForce 6200 256ddr2 64bit AGP.
When I open my PC, the screen flickers and when I touch the video card, it is
unusally hot. I already tried removing the card and placing it back several times
already but it still does not work. But when I place the card in an EPOX motherboard,
it works just fine. Is this type of video card not compatible with my motherboard?
What NVIDIA video card can you suggest with the same or better specs to GEForce
6200?
