My Memory!

Ok, its about my ram ... the problem is this....

As you can see from the pic my memory is 6400(800MHz) ... now its running at 832MHz according to cpu-z and ive set it this way in the bios, the thing is at the post\boot screen the memory shows up as 5300 or 5400 memory(cant remember which one now its one of those two) ...... does anybody know why its showing up as 5300\5400 at the post\boot screen but its actually running at 832MHz? .... when not overclocking it shows up as 6400 as normal.

Any ideas?

Oh and another thing, how do my timings look? lol (not 100% sure what im doing when it comes to timings, still pretty much a noob)

A lot of motherboards will put out strange readings when you push the memory outside of its normal parameters. Nothing to worry about.

I think that was supposed to be fixed in the latest bios

I have the latest bios for my board v1604

I don;t have the same board or memory as you, mine does the same thing. Actually, when over clocking, as I move my speeds up it changes pretty much every time, I don't think I've seen it say pc8500 yet.
