they overclocked the fsb... 3dmark 2k1 is extremely sensitive to overclocking memory and fsb... 3dmark 2k3 isnt so much so

Yes 2001 loves high fsb's -here's a 14000 on a 4200 at just 330/567 no lod tricks, application/best image quality

xp1700 on an albatron kx400+ pro(kt333) running a 207mhz fsb

btw, just scored a 15890 running the 4200 @ 335/615 with blend and a 215mhz fsb with the 43.45 drivers but the database wont take my scores at the moment ? Will try later.
Not too shabby for a "cheapy" system(was built for GF) .

Well I ran 3dmark2003 with 6x AA and 16x quality AF vscyn enabled, and all sliders on the highest settings.

Hmmm, anyways I used to have a lot of respect for R3D, but recentley ive been looking in and its a total ANTI-NVIDIA thing going on (http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?threadid=33677155) is a good example. What started off as a post on IQ for the 9800 vs GF-FX turned into an FX SUCKS fest. So i dont think ill be visiting there for any sensible discussions in the near future. :argh:

The nvidia video card bashing is everywhere, they are not in a good position in the videocard market, but they are going strong in the mobo chipset which I think may be more profitable in the long run.

Yeah but we are all sick of it, because the NV30 isnt a bad product but NVIDIA peeps accuse ATi fans of not being able to see past their R300's and the same of the ATi fans. If you say a good thing about either your an "nvidiot" or a "fanATIc" its completley GAY (sorry no offense intended to any gay people there)! Im not sure why someone feels the need to slate a product they dont have.... maybe it makes them feel better about themselves? Anyways id just like to be in a forum that has no bashing for a change you know.

You are right though, NFORCE is the mutz nutz and i love my FX card. Just a shame i cant enjoy it without running into a hate thread every 5mins :( oh well.
