I also heard about a new OS coming in 2009, '7'.
What do you think of this?

interesting but i think it will take longer than that to bring out a new OS and directx... maybe the next OS will feature dx11 just like vista is dx10

If they do plan all this to 2009, I think they are kind of skipping DX10.
Of course there will be DX10 games in 2009 and probebly a few years ahead, but DX11, so early? It took much longer to transition from DX9 to DX10, right?
I wonder what the changes will be from DX10 to DX11... something big? as for now it seems DX11 just around the corner.
Heh...if they don't go bankrupt first.
Maybe the reason they don't have the Phenoms out yet is because they're too busy making all these road maps?
Heh...if they don't go bankrupt first.
I was thinking exactly the same thing.

that new OS would be Microsoft® Windows® Vienna (Vienna being the codename), atleast that's what I know, look it up on google.
Buying a 8800/2900 is totally pointless lol

Well even buying dx11 card will be pointless because 1 to 2 years later dx12 will be released. That's the way things go :) and you may skip a generation but you can't stay on a tnt2 card forever :)))
Just by posting this you've now delayed DNF for another 2 years... good job.
