mode not supported on c840 laptop with RH9

Hello,

I just installed 1.0-4349 on a Dell Latitude c840 running RH9.

It has a GeForce4 440 Go. This was running at a resolution of at least 1280x1024 with 1.0-3123 on RH8. Now the maximum available resolution is 800x600.

The error log says:
(II) NVIDIA(0): Not using mode "1280x1024" (no mode of this name)

Any idea why?

Well, I think I solved the problem. It seems that the RH9 install did not get the hsync/vrefresh rates. When I changed them X started in 1280x1024. Sorry and thanks for supporting open source!
