Hail,
My new Syncmaster 225BW (22 inch wide screen lcd, 1680x1050) is pretty nice, but im not thrilled with the in-game IQ.. I am coming from a trinitron CRT(1600x1200) which I have gamed on for many months.. and with my subjective eyes, the CRT is better by quite a bit. In resident evil 4 for example, the LCD has this hazey effect, and nothing seems as sharp, and im noticing bad aliasing where i didnt notice it with the CRT.
am I going crazy here? could the widescreen resolution cause horrible aliasing? Ive heard that my trinitron tube is one of the best you can get for a CRT, is it possible that its simply better than the panel in my lcd?
