The local rock/alternative station around here is The BUZZ, and today they were showing their support for our troops in Iraq by dropping everything they could from a 100 ft. crane. I got the whole thing on video and have already encoded some of the clips. I even got Jim Brewer to give you guys a whats-up. The problem is that I don't have anywhere to upload them to, somebody with some space drop me a line, and don't worry I will only link them here. You guys are my only friends.

Many thank to K.I.L.E.R for hosting the files. Jim Brewer says something kind of mean, but he said he was sorry and shook my hand off camera. He seemed really cool. He was also the first famous person I've ever met.

These are of the car he dropped and Jim.

I have other clips of stuff like a water heater and a sit-in lawn mower with a dummy in it. heh.

If "The Buzz" is owned by Clear Channel, don't be surprized abount their "patriotism"...

Here's something ripped from the New York Times...

"Experienced Bushologists let out a collective 'Aha!' when Clear Channel was revealed to be behind the pro-war rallies, because the copmpany's top management has a history with George W. Bush. The vice chairman of Clear Channel is Tom Hicks, whose name may be familiar to readers of this column. When Mr. Bush was governor of Texas, Mr. Hicks was chairman of the University of Texas Investment Management Company, called Utimco, and Clear Channel's chairman, Lowry Mays, was on its board. Under Mr. Hicks, Utimco placed much of the university's endowment under the management of companies with strong Republican Party or Bush family ties. In 1998 Mr. Hicks purchased the Texas Rangers in a deal that made Mr. Bush a multimillionaire."

NY Times reqires registration to view articles. :(

But, here's a simular one from the Chicago Tribune...

Clear Channel's "Pro-War" rallies raises questions (http://www.chicagotribune.com/templates/misc/printstory.jsp?slug=chi%2D0303190157mar19&section=/printstory)

This is why I don't own a radio anymore. Aside from their lack of a decent playlist, I've grown really sick and tired of manufactured news from the monopolistic entities of Corporate America. If there's one thing that Clinton deserves getting impeached for, the big de-regulation of 1997 that created the "Microsoft" of AM and FM is it!!
