Getting a low fps playing IL2-1946 (Evga 8800 GTS 320mb, Vista)

Hi!
I have a problem whilst playing IL2-1946. I basically bought this card to be able to play with the highest settings, but nope, won't work. I get only about 20-30 fps with settings that others get twice the fps with.

My rig: Evga GeForce 8800 GTS 320mb, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, Vista 32-bit.

Go into your your conf.ini file in your IL-2 directory. Find the line for proccesor affinity. The first character should be an ; remove the ;. This will enable this line and now it should be set. save and exit.

IL-2 HATES duel cores. This should fix you up.


And another thing. If you cannot save the changes to your conf.ini uninstall and install anywhere except Program files.
