My EVGA 8800gts ACS3 KO temps seem very high:

Idle: 70c
Load: haven't checked yet.

is that temp normal? when i had the 7800 gtx on the same machine i use to get 56c idle.

My GigaByte 8800GTX (stock clocks) also idles at ~70C. If I put 92mm intake fan near my GTX temps drops to 65C. In load card never reaches 90C. If I set fan to 100% it idles at 50-55C and in load never reaches >75C. So, don't be worry:)

Uh, that's kind of high, man. I have the same exact card and I have it overclocked at 650/950 and right at this moment it's idling at 58' C, plus it's about 101' F outside and my room is on the west side of the house. It usually idles at around 56' C. I have the fan set to 100% 24/7 via Rivatuner as well. You might look into that, because the fans at idle are only running about 58% stock.

BTW, your Sig says you have an 8800 Ultra? :wtf:

lol that was my older system, the performance didn't justify the price difference so i sold it. I'm holding on to this till Nvidia release their new gpu.

I think i need to change the fan speed to 100% on riveatuner. I''ll try that and get back with the results.
