Hi all,

New to this forum. I can tell that it is backed by many experts. I'm sure my question has been asked before but can't find a thread on it. Tried to resolve some similar threads response without success. Such as the ever so popular google search and nvidia search with details listed below (to no avail. grrrr) :) Odd that many other cards can be found with any one or all this info. :(

Details:

AGP
N11071
NV869.0 REV A
180-10050-000-C01

Need to know how much memory on card (covered with heat sinks) and other specs to get a reasonable replacement. Currently having intermittent problems with this installed card (system freeze, restart). Tried the card in two different systems with similar results. Might be an overheating issue. Any help is appreciated.

Well, if that is the card, then it won't be hard to upgrade. You could even go up to a 6800GT in AGP. I don't think there were any 7 series cards available in AGP. Good luck.

There are several 7 series agp cards. 7300gt, 7600gs, 7900gs, 7950gt to name a few.

I would just grab a cheap 6200.

Thanks so much. How did you find it? In case I have to do this again. I'd much rather learn to fish than beg for food :)

Thanks again!!

If you google the part number (NV869.0 REV A) it returns this result (http://www.molar.is/listar/partalistinn/2006-09/0145.shtml). Which appears to be a forum in iceland (based on the .is domain name) In it there is the following text:

VisionTek (NV869.0 Rev.A) GeForce 2 GTS w/ 64mb DDR SDRAM.
VGA+DVI+Video-out

So assuming that is correct, your card is the same one.

Uh oh, conflicting info. but close enough to allow me to make a decision.

Much thanks to all for your help. (urock)

It was the Visiontek part that was lacking :(

Case closed in record time. Yahoooo!!!
