Hey everybody,
I have 3 wifi cards on my laptop, and i wanna hookup to three diff connections, and be able to have each prog on a connection that i want (example: a conn for the browser, another conn for another browser, and a conn for the outlook) xp always goes with the strongest/closest conn. What's a good tool for that?
Does it really help to use more than one?
Seems to me that your router or ISP would be the bottleneck, and thus extra network cards wouldn't help anyways.
But I've been wrong before... *braces for imminent flaming*

Doesn't each card come with it's own software? You could manage your connections through those provided the cards are of different make.
Assigning a network connection to a specific application is another thing however and AFAIK is impossible in XP, so tough luck. :(

yes all cards come with it own software but they are completely useless when it come to "Assigning a network connection to a specific application"
i cant see how this tool dont exist, there is a lot of networking tools out there.

I'm really curious why you want to do that....it just doesn't make any sense to me. Why have 3 connections to do what 1 can do by itself?

turn off windows zero wireless config in the services panel in iorder to have the nic software take over managing the conections.

You likely can't do this in Windows since you cannot force applications such as the browser to bind to a specific NIC.
Also, you're an idiot, quit stealing your neighbors wireless you retard.

Solution:
Gigabit Ethernet

your not making any sence, first off you never stated whether you had turned it off so i assumed you had not. second you never stated what your total configuration is so i again was force by you to make an assumption. here, you want an answer, you need a routing protocol todo what it is that you want todo. do you know how to configure routing tables and routing protocals? if you want to jump all over me, you shouldnt jump on the hand that could feed you your answer...

Seeing as I feel like conversing you with is distinctly similar with holding a SMS conversation with a 8 year old over a cell phone are the same, I doubt very seriously you could manage to remove a plastic bag over your head and avoid suffocation.
Unless you're sitting in my living room you won't get a signal, I'm transmitting at 78 qdbm, 19.50 dbm, 89 mW with a 7dBi antenna horizontally polarized.
My closest neighbor is 300M from me dearest tard, I live in the country.
