Edit:
PLEASE POST YOUR RESOLUTION, 800x600 is a lot different than 2560x1600![/B] :)

Happy with performance. :)

I'd just like to throw this in the face of all the noobs who said Rainbow Six: Vegas was how Bioshock and UT3 were going to run. :p

Um how are you benchmarking it? Are you using your "tweak"?

No, only thing I have set is the minimum refresh rate set to "1" so if anything, it would hurt performance, because we don't want worse PQ, right Magus? :p

My brother just bought an 8600gs or gt, I hope his runs Crysis well, as I don't think he cars much about this game (neither do I, but I do like the techincal achievements).

Its nice to see a new game actually performing fairly well for once :D

Yeah, most developers think making a game that's on a console work on a PC means making sure you can control the menu with the mouse.

King Kong: Gamer's Edition is one of the worst, you can't even type with the KEYBOARD!

Wasted $20 on that one. :(

I guess you just need a 8800 just to play Bioshock at a decent framerate.

FSAA settings?

Since I play with V-Sync on, about 90% of the time it's 60fps. Lowest it got was 30, average was about 55. Everything turned on, even DX10, 1920x1200.

FSAA settings?

Doesn't matter. It does not work. :(

I'm not counting fps but its completely smooth with no studdering....I see alot of "tearing" with v-sync off ..so I got to be over 60fps most of the time.
I run v-sync on, all settings "on", sliders maxed, 1920x1200, FW 163.44
PC settings in sig

I don't get how people with LCD monitors play with V-Sync off...just too painful to watch. FPS junkies I guess.

I hear you, theres no way I can play without V-Sync enabled. I can't stand tearing.

I'll have my results up soon.

I never play with v-sync off..but I do test with it off..
With this demo, I hardly payed attention to story or game play...all I wanted was to experiment with how to best run the full game tomorow :)

btw: does NVcp AF work?

So how do I get the FPS rate? I just finished the demo, and I am 95% sure I am buying it on steam tomorrow. I have a 5% chance of buying it at Circuit City lol.

I used FRAPS.

Fraps (press F11), just be sure the checkboxes are checked in the FPS menu (all 3 boxes).

I'm getting about 25FPS on my machine. :( This is with 16xAF and 0xAA. Graphics seem quite poor compared to other newer games such as HL2. The textures seem quite blurry, and the game is just choppy enough to take away from the enjoyability. I'll probably pass on the retail version until my next upgrade.
