View Full Version : Mike Vick is he thru?
It's not illegal to sponsor dogfights in some states, but it is illegal to torture and maim animals for pleasure. That's what he's in trouble for.
Some !!?? Yeah two out of fifty... Big difference.

So much potential down the drain.
I say he's done in NFL. He might get into a Canadian or European league when he gets out of the pen.
Actually, I think the European NFL folded this year.

^^ correct, the NFL Europe is history, as with Michael Vick career
I forgot EFL folded.
He deserves to pull time for just being ignorant. You would think, if you had that much money, you would take it to one of the states where it was legal and none of this **** would have been uncovered. What a fool, he deserves to lose all his $$$.
He gave an apology and it came off very heartfelt and genuine. Shame some will forgive a murderer before they do him.

I disagree.
Responsible hunters do not attempt to maim. The idea is to drop the animal in a single shot. Those that garner pleasure from inflicting pain or watching it are sick in the head.
Bingo. I'm absolutely amazed that there are people out there defending this sack of sh*t. I'm sorry to politicize this, but cruel and barbaric practise is the same whether it's dogfighting or (say) female circumcision in the Middle East. Why people would defend one and not the other based on tradition is beyond me. Celebrity status strikes again I suppose.

I don't think it was genuine at all. Especially when he started talking about finding Jesus. (I didn't realize Jesus was lost.)
He also didn't say a word about feeling bad or sorry for the animals that he and his buddies abused and killed.
He's sorry all right, sorry he got caught and sorry that his buddies turned on him.
Vick is a tool and deserves his NFL ban, jail time and whatever else he has coming. I hope the judge really sticks it to him at sentencing.
BTW, even associating with gamblers is enough to get you kicked out of the NFL let alone what Vick has admitted to. I really don't see too much of a chance that he will ever play in the NFL again, not without a herculean effort on his part to reverse some of the damage he's done.
How about that good show by Harrington last night. Screw Vick.

This is still preseason, bro. Atlanta will not even go .500 this year.

With the 5 receiver line up and more action from Norwood, I bet they do!
