Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with the 4xxx drivers.

When I start X the color map seems all distorted in orange and white tones when I plug my monitor into the DVI connector.

When I plug my monitor into the DSUB connector, everything works normally. I've had this problem with the older 4x release, and was using 3123 drivers previously.

My setup:

Slackware 9.0 (also was with 8.1)
kernel 2.4.20 xfs with ptrace (and kernel 2.4.18 previously)
Pine Technology Geforce2Ti200
NEC LCD1850X (have hsync and vrefresh set in XF86Config)
Shuttle AK31

Anyone know what might be the cause of this?

Thanks

This sounds very similar to another issue we're tracking right now. Can you post a verbose X log?

Thanks!

Also, another thing I've noticed, not sure if it has anything to do with it, but fonts aren't rendering even remotely the same way with the CRT option selected as they do when DFP is selected.

I can post screenshots showing this if you think it's worth pursuing.
