Got mine Friday 3:00pm ordered Wednesday 11:00pm from Fry'sOutpost.com GREAT SERVICE!

It came with a tee shirt,s-video,rca,dvi to vga and driver CD.But no DVD software,also the drivers are out of date.Got better ones from ATI.com

The install went great.Just removed my VisionTek ti 4600 and put in the VisionTek 9800pro,Started in safe mode and removed the Nvidia drivers from add/remove and rebooted normally.Cancelled the installation wiz and went to desktop.Installed software from the CD and VIOLA everything worked.I did however remove those drivers and updated from ATI.com,got about 300 more in benchmarks and can run UT 2003 at 1200*1600 all details max with max quality driver settings VERY IMPRESSIVE INDEED
also same gos for RalliSport Challenge.

I also got the same package from Frys. I really was impressed with the T-shirt, im gonna wear it to school monday : D

im getting 3dmarks in the 5200range, but i didnt reinstall windows.

with some tweaking i know i can get better but in all honestly, a few fps isnt worth for me to reintsall all my games heh.

you can order the ultras from online stores. newegg and monarch has them in stock.

Are the catalist 3.1 drivers unified, so all i would have to do is replace the 8500 with the 9800?

That should work, but id then upgrade to the 3.2cats' thats what im usein, then ill go with the 3.3's : )

1.UT2003 is playable at 1280*1024 max settings in game and
video drivers 4aa-16af 100 refresh rate.1600*1200 is not really playable with max video settings

2.Rallisport Challenge is the same as UT2003

3.Vision Tek said they would send me DVD software!

4.These settings and info relate to my computer and my
preferences and may not be true for you.

5.The 9800pro and the 5800ultra are both great cards and play the SAME at max settings[resilution,refresh rate,game settings,driver settings].I prefer the look of the 5800ultra most of the time,but that may be because I am used to Nvidia products.There are times when the 9800pro really shines and it does have the advantage of being next to silent.

I tryed Unreal II at 1280x1024 with AA 4x and AF at 4x and i could play the indoor sceens fine, but once i hit the outdoor sceen, it goes into slideshow mode. I am kinda dissapointed, also that i cannot play Counter-Strike also adds to it a bit.

Drop back to the Cat 3.1s and you should be able to play CS just fine.
