I'm curious here... what's the difference between the two? I'm looking at the FX-62 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103861) and the X2 6000+ (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103773), and the only differences I see are 200 MGz and $200.

Is there something magical and special about the FX-62 or is newegg.com trying to push old tech on me?

The FX proc you are looking at has an unlocked multiplier.

Think of it as the QX6700 v/s the Q6700
