I saw some video of the game in action about 2 weeks ago and it looked crap... very very very low res textures on everything. It hurt my eyes :thumbdwn:

Hope thats its early in development or something and they didnt have the time to fix the textures, otherwise it is one of the crappiest new generation games I have seen

doesnt look that good in the videos at least...
Search for conan on gametrailers and look at some hd vids and judge for yourself ;)

Well the movie I posted was from the PS3 version, you clearly see that when they show which button to press.

I understand that. I was asking s sincere question. I can't tell. I don't have as good a eye as most here. If they are remotely close, I am happy. I am far more interested in game play, for example Blue Dragon. It looks fantastic but man I was bored to tears with the demo.

Btw, Nihilistic who develops Conan is the studio that worked alot on Blizzards defunct Starcraft Ghost. They need to put more info about Conan on their page though, and less SC Ghost info. :P

It looks fun but the backgrounds are somewhat lacking in detail. It is going to be a Mature game for sure.

Got it yesterday (360 version). Reminds me very much of Severence: Blade of Darkness (which is a very good thing). Some of the scenes have little interaction other than pressing a button on time (like the jericho demo falling down the well bit), but they are rendered with the game engine. Looks very nice on my 480p plasma.

One of the few game console games I actually finished is Conan.

Played it on PS3. Lots of blurry textures. Overall look is good. Nifty to have a more adult theme for once( note pic). Lots of gore and blood with is great to see. Plenty of combos. Story was ok with a sort of heartwarming ending. Solid game took me 11+ hours to beat. Actual time was 8 hours but including the many reties and loading add at least 3 hours.
7.5/10 from me.
