Hey i was a big fan of the Solder Of Fortune Games.

The First was based off the quake 2 engine and i think the 2nd one was based off the quake 3 engine.

Both games were fun playing a solder on different missions around the world.

Only problem is its been 5 years since we seen a Solder of Fortune game out.

Is Raven Soft done with this series? I think they should have another one out using the quake 4 engine it would look nice cuz that game always done well with the engines and SOF1 was a head of its time cuz it looked decent for the time it came out.

Anyway your thoughts if the game should have another entry in the series.

There is a SoF game coming out, but it's not done by Raven and is being published by Activision Value. I wouldn't expect much.

Looks like Raven is done because other developer is working on Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back. It's going to be under Activision Value brand. I think maker of Chaser is working on this.

It's coming to PS3/X360/PC.

EDIT: Meh I'm too slow.

I remember how revolutionary SOF2 was because the bodies would lay differently depending on how they fell, rather than sticking through walls.

It was hilarious though. It'd play the death animation, and then when it ended, the body would flop around to adjust to the shape of the ground it was laying on. :rofl

Soooo glad we have rag doll physics now... :p

Yes Activision Value.

I'm hoping it's going to be a fun little diversion. If not, bye bye SOF franchise. \:(

I love under rated games :D

It establishes a small but hardcore community.

Take morrowind for example. Though popular it didnt get ALL the publicity it deserved. But look at the fan base.

And Morrowind IS better than oblivion  ;)
