Home is a very ambitious project by Sony, and is/will not be very easy to implement fully. If your not in the private beta and are curious, follow the link. It is informative in the least.

Not to be critical of Sony, but I'd expect that Home is pushed back even further. It is a very ambitious project and likely taking much more time to build than they had envisioned.

Nah I bet they will release it. It's not like it wont be updated as its official. They already stated that they wont have everything they showed at launch and expect it to be added after launch.

Why does everything these days seem like a beta testing project, google maps, PS3 home, EQ2, etc..

Sony will be sure to release Home to the public, but I'm going to stick to the doubting thomas line and assume it will be later than initally announced.
