How do I disable the blue LCD display poster in the system bios on my Asus Striker Extreme 680i Intel Edition Motherboard? I want the function to work but I want to minus the LCD blue light display. Below is a picture of the device I'm talking about. It's a blue LCD display that posts codes. I just want to turn off the Blue LED light function since I never go to look back there and I don't want the LCD light display to burn out over time.

Are you referring to turning off the backlight on the LCD? If so take a boo at page 4-27 of your user manual....(did you look there?). Advanced>Onboard Device Configuration is where you'll find it. LCD Poster Backlight > Disable.

If you don't have the manual, get it here. http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/Stricker%20Extreme/e2898_striker-extreme.pdf and go to page 97.
