if framebuffer enabled, X wont start

Hi,
If i compile my kernel with framebuffer enabled (in "Console Drivers"), X won't start. when i type "lsmod" i see the nvidia module loaded, tho.

Is there anything i should put or not put in my XF86config, for X to start with the framebuffer enabled in my kernel?

What error are you getting that X won't start?

"It won't start" doesn't leave much for us to go on...
