Hi,
I've just installed Redhat 9 and installed the new drivers from the script, the work fine for the PCI GeForce 2 I have on the machine, but when I try to use the GeForce 4 Ti 4600 the machince goes into meltdown! I can't get in with ssh and any open sessions are hung, all I can do is hit the power switch. I've tried diabling AGP and still no luck.
I was previously running Mandrake 9 with no problems at all and xinerama worked like a dream.
When I look at the XFree86.0.log after a crash, there is apparenly nothing wrong.
My system is a Dell Precision 530 Dual 1.7 Xeon, running Redhat 9 standart SMP kernel.
1GB Ram with the two cards mentioned above! Any help would be really appreciated.
Many Thanks
Andy
