Could someone here with a Radeon 9700 (or any R300-based card for that matter) and Quake 3 test something for me? Load up Quake 3 (full version) and see if you can play a match on Q3DM0 (single player against Crash). I can't get that map to load without the game crashing. I tried the Catalyst 3.1 and 3.2 drivers and still had the same problem. Q3DM0 is the only map that does this.

It plays fine on mine, but I'm using the Omega drivers, which work great. No problems with any games (Splinter Cell, Vietcong, Delta Force Black Hawk Down, etc.) D3D or Open GL games.

Running Quake 3 1.32, it works fine.

Maybe it's a version problem because I was running 1.31. But I don't wanna spend 10 years downloading that patch. It's not a big deal, but I wanted to check anyway.

It must have been me because I reinstalled Quake 3 and all is perfect. Runs faster and looks better than any system/video card I've ever owned.
