How good are EVGA video cards? The only reason I ask is I have a chance to buy a used 8800 GTS 320 mb Super Clocks for $200.00. I comes with all the hardware and box and all. But I found out that the warranty cannot be transfered. If it was a BFG I would not worry. Never had a problem them.

Thank you for your time.

all the graphics cards i have had have been EVGA, and they have been really good. Never had one go bad, overheat, or anything.
i dunno, can you purchase and advanced RMA after the fact or not?

For 200$ I'd snag it even without the RMA. I have a non-superclocked version and it is amazing. AFAIK the warranty CAN be transfered but only once (check the evga website). But at that price I wouldn't blink twice, really ^^

I got a email back from EVGA saying that the warranty cannot be transfered..

I have always gotten ASUS or Gainward cards... but with the 8 series I went EVGA and I must say I have no complaints :)

my mistake, sorry (i thought someone once told me it could be transferred over once). Still, the price is 100$ less than retail on newegg for superclocked..

Ever since I switched back to nVidia I've bought EVGA almost exclusively, this includes 3 graphics cards (2x7800GT's and 1x8800GTX) and 3 motherboards (1xnForce 4 and 2x680i) and I've been extremely pleased with them.

Not only have I enjoyed using their products both at home and at work, but when I bought my first 7800GT I had actually just missed the free Call of Duty giveaway, but their tech support still sent me a copy (and a Quake 4 copy as well). Their forums are full of technicians ready to offer help and give out their direct email addresses for assistance. I couldn't be happier.

yah their customer support is very good. especially compared to ASUS. i personally hate their technical support. the language barrier is absolutley insane. i feel like i'd be better off trying to hit my head against the wall while trying to learn a 3rd language

I can highly recommend them
I have a 6800 Ultra/6800GT/7900GTX/8800GTX, all EVGA work perfect no problems:)

Ive never tried eVGA cards, because they arent very common here. Ive used MSI, Leadtek and Gainward before and i must say Leadtek is the best among the three. I just wished they had more eVGA cards here.

I had to get 3 RMAs on my 7800GS agp SC cause they wouldnt run at super clocked speeds without locking up to a black screen, but I chalked it up to hickups with working with chips ment for pcie running on ago boards. Thanks to the life time warentee though, replacement is easy and I got them to pay for 2 of the returns. I purchased my last vid card from them cause I knew if I had any problems, sending it back would be a non-issue.

I haven't had a single problem with my 8800 GTX or my 680i SLI motherboard, and even if I did, you can't beat a lifetime replacement warranty. It just doesn't get any better than that. ;)
