This is in DX 9 ?
Movable vegetation works perfectly fine in DX9. The branches move out of the way as you walk through ferns, the bushes rustle around when you go through them. They're not destructible, but they move.

Has anyone tried installing it on more than one computer? Will it even let you? You have to activate it with the key when you start it up. I suspect there are protective measure to prevent you installing it on different computers. I'm going to try this evening to install it in XP to see if I can get better performance.

Even though the bushes aren't destructable, isn't there a particle-like system that causes leaves to pop out and float to the ground when the bush is shot? If so, this still works because bushes and the lighter vegetation generally don't have the thick trunks (and even branches) like trees to be completely destroyable like them.

They are releasing the keys in different phases. You won't get a key till you fill out the beta form. The form won't be available again until the next phase. Its hard to say when it'll be, but I'd say its probably only a few days away... max.

Jonelo's videos have pretty much erased all of my graphical worries. As I said: Screenshots just do not do this game justice.

They are releasing the keys in different phases. You won't get a key till you fill out the beta form. The form won't be available again until the next phase. Its hard to say when it'll be, but I'd say its probably only a few days away... max.
Thing is I wasn't een e-mailed anything about the beta. If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't have even known it was going on.

But the capture with the fraps not is indicative of the perfomance. You select the framerate - 25, 30, 60. with the Fraps - The hard disk is more important that the CPU,

Dammit... i know i'm going to miss the next wave of beta keys.

I've been up for about 18 hours. As soon as I go to sleep the keys will show up. Thats what happened yesterday. :p

The video capture is at 25 fps, the real perfomance is seen in the screens. It is with AA 8X o AA 4X .

Jonelo, what's you opinion about the game? how does it feel? Is this the best looking game you have ever played? Please give use your opinion on the feel and quality of the game...

Field Texture is very good!!! But, building texture(especially huts) is messy!!! :(

I hope more high-res texture...

Anyone know a good way to change the resolution? I can't see 2048x1536 on the menu it goes off the bottom of the screen.
