Oh yeah the textures of the Frog are much better :D


No, seriously , in the 1.0 version, the textures in many points are pure crap . The videomemory usage is 300- 350 mb without AA and 400- 460 with AA 8X . And the RAM usage about 700 mb- total with win xp no more that 1000-1100 . Far to the 2 gigas or the 4 gigas of the win 64 version in Vista, and far to the 768 mb of the 8800 gtx or the 640 of the 8800 gts

Yea they updated ALOT of stuff. They pretty much gave high detail the textures it should have.

Crysis demo - 1.0 in medium , looks nice , with shadows maps as in HIGH . The problem is the AA, no work in medium

That user morethanonecode has some really amazing shots. on ATI too. Looks so good...man so unlucky to not have this FP thing...its very hard even if i want to use there feature download early release stuff like this because of the poor Australian ISP Usage :(...we are like 27th in the world for broadband -.-

No this is still just "High Settings" . They just updated alot of the textures.

Not to far off from the previous stuff we were :drooling: over. Give it DX10 and Very High settings and it will look just like what we seen if not better.

Hm... did Sun Rays only work in the first version of the beta? I cant seem to get them in the beta 2. Even with everything on high. Also, there where no coulds when this Sun Rays effect appeared. Can anyone look into this? I need sunrays! w00t!

Character pose is different from shadow's movement...
