After GRAW2 and QW:ET I will never beta test again. Playing through a buggy beta kind of diminishes your excitement about the final product. At least that's my experience.

I actually doubt they would do that in multiplayer... too much strain on the server.

But.

There was one game that was coming out that had destructible environments and it was an fps. Multiplayer had this but it would use a different kind of server to do so. It might have been crysis but I really don't remember.

uh so yeah, i cant seem to find a link to download the beta off fileplanet anywhere.. can someone help me out ?

all i get is a page saying all the beta keys are distributed for now.

All I have to say is, WOW. Really, game runs flawlessly at 1440x900 with settings on high (very high is disabled). By flawlessly I mean the FPS never dips under 60; graphics are beautiful, maybe a little less spectacular than in some high-def videos, but revolutionary all the same.

Tree physics is only going to be on DX10 multiplayer but will be on DX9 singleplayer. There were will be DX10 servers only and then DX10/DX9 servers where anyone can play (that has a PC that can play it of course).

I think InCrysis or crysisonline had the story a while back. ;)

I'm in. Had to upgrade my subscription but $12.95 to play Crysis tonight is a good deal IMO. It's stupid they can't even provide the bandwidth I just paid for but at this point I don't care. . DLing at about 50KB right now. Everyone that has it is too busy playing to post pics. AAahhhhh come on....where did I put that time machine(large hammer to knock me out for the next hour or so).

I'm running on dx9 right now and noticed that the trees weren't collapsing (though the foliage movement is very nice) so Im thinking ill install vista when I get burned out, which should be quite a while :)
