Allright guys, i have finally played on a day/night server, nightmode is really awesome... But performance is a bit worse.

How is SLI working in this game at the moment? Any big improvements?

I HAVE 2 ULTRA'S IN SLI, AND SO FAR SLI IS NOT WORKING IN THE BETA, I GET THE SAME PERFORMANCE WITH SLI AND WITHOUT SLI, I AM USING THE LATEST DRIVERS, SLI WILL PROBABLY WORK WITH THE FINAL GAME, BECAUSE THEY HAVE BRAGGED THE WHOLE TIME HOW WELL THE GAME USES THE MULTIGPU CONFIGURATION.

THE BETA GETS NO PERFORMANCE BOOST WITH SLI.

anyone wanna play with female sounds i found a way howto:

1.) go to ...\Crytek\Crysis MP Beta\Game\Localized
2.) open the file English.pak with winrar ( be sure to make a backup )
3.) now go to Languages\dialog\suit
4.) you'll see 2 folders "male" and "female"
5.) the filenames are the same in both folders
6.) just replace the male sounds with the female sounds
7.) have fun

Yeah I saw that last night when I was playing. Can't join though :( They must be getting close to another beta release. This time with an extra map!

There's actually an option on the ingame menu to switch your suit sounds :)

...but I just tested and it doesn't appear to work so the only way to do it is to replace the files. Good looking out :thumbsup:

thanks biohazzard. I was expecting a more authoritative female voice like hilary clinton but it's not bad. It could have been disabled because it may be a place holder. I still prefer it over the guy voice which is getting tiring

Jonelo, did you change the shadows in your config or something? They look much better than mine. How can i make the shadows look better?
