AA most likely not at all, because the 7-series can´t do HDR+AA, the setting should be greyed out. AF through the Nvidia control panel. There is a console command line "r_Texture_Anisotropic_Level = 16 " but it didn´t work with BETA2, had to force it through the driver.

Edit: I see you have a 8600GT now (congrats!), well in that case you should be able to simply pick the level of AA in the options.

Haha. Well, turning on AA makes everything transparent. Turned that off quick!

No seeds there. I switched over to THIS TORRENT (http://www.mybittorrent.com/info/1008606/) and I'm getting at least twice the speed that I was getting from Fileplanet (and I'm a paid subscriber FFS). Fileplanet sucks arse and I DEFINITELY will not be renewing my subscription. :thumbdwn: :nono:

The torrent shows only no seeders and 2 leeches but I'm connected to 2 seeders and 64 leeches.

Game set optimal graphics settings to medium and I played it thus at 1680x1050 and I must say that it's smoother than I expected (45+fps)! Game looks gorgeous even without the high-res textures and vram usage rarely peaks 340mb (usually under 300). Another score for the 8800GTS320 (pah to you people saying it could only run it at 1024x768 and med/low.. lol).

As for gameplay, it feels like a combination of FarCry and battlefield 2. I even noticed that you can't walk out of play area boundaries without dying like in etqw/bf2 (don't remember such restrictions in FC :(). SP will probably be the win factor of this game for me, but MP does offer an interesting objective-based twist. So far so good!

sorry i cannot stand it with no AA. i mean it seems in crysis more so than other games having no AA makes things extremely ugly and frankly its giving me a headache. even the leafs on trees are jagged, yuck. not to mention this new release run worse than the old one. back to tf2, crytek will never make this a playable MP game.:thumbdwn:

edit: tf2 beta player count exceeds that of crysis beta by a factor of 10, tf2 has recieved maybe 1% the hype crysis did. PLUS everyone who is playing in TF2 paid $44.99. gj crytek.:rolleyes:

you can only enter your specs once under one fileplanet account. Game runs great for me, running 1280x1024(yay for my 19" LCD :lol: ) everything on high and 8x multisampling AA and it runs smooth, only time it really hickups is every couple of minutes there is this stutter where it almost pauses for a sec but thats it. I can't wait till this comes out in november :D

how are u getting AA to work? everyone ingame tells me AA is not functional. are u sure its working? try very high. all the videos Crytek has released are using at least very high with tons of AA/AF. what FPS are you getting, run fraps and let u know pls.

It runs well on meduim/high @ 19x12 on my system.

yeah im running at all high 1440x900 no aa, getting 30fps outdoor/jungle/driving .. but gun fight ~ i was getting lower than taht due to lag

30fps is all u need for this game, anything blows that feels slow

so if they can get SLI to work , i think its possible to play this at 1680x1050 4xAA maybe
