Yeah to shout and curse - I doubt the other team hears it but I tried.
Really? I've been thinking of buying a headset with mic but if no one is seriously using the voice feature except to chat about stupid stuff or swear then forget it.

I meant me :D when I die.. I don't know if everyone swears or not. A few servers had people talking but without it being BF2 Squad Form its just random 2 or 3 and it don't make up the difference when its just open like that.
I never use mics because people don't know how to speak English, so they just curse almost constantly.

Only reason I ask is then looking at the Tab player list everyone shows the little speaker icon except for me. I assumed they were using mic com but maybe the game lists that icon even if someone isn't using it.

Exactly, unless you disable ingame voice feature, the icon won't disappear.

The servers I've been banned off rank in the 1000's. A lot of people hate us... Unlike most idiots I do not solo guide..
VOIP isn't used or else it don't work for me.. I only heard one or two people use it and to be honest they didn't say to much..

yeah this made zero difference, still getiing 25-30fps outside.

and "high" still doesnt come close to looking remotely as good as official crysis videos. no doubt this is the most realistic looking game ever, and will be the new standard. but kinda sucks that to get a playable frame rates with all eye candy on very high using 1280x1024 and up will require at minimum SLI 8800 GTX/Ultra.
Dude, comparisons now are moot. The DX10 renderer is not in the game which means we are running cutting edge shaders with slow assed old tech. Dx10 should yield performance boost. Its sad its not complete atm.. youd think they would have the engine done before the game.

Have you all seen the gametrailers.com Instant Action (aka Deathmatch) video? It looks like it's running so smooth there. They also have a Power Struggle video that looks to be running smoothly as well. Not sure what kind of system it's running on, but I bet there are newer builds with better performance out there and it just hasn't trickled down to the open beta yet.

Wow Crysis multiplayer is incredible, I am very addicted to it after played for 12 hours now since finally login for the first time on Saturday morning, I realised it was my cable's network had problems with online games in the last few days now all resolved so I am now able to login fine. I am taking 1 hour break now.
It lots of fun played both sides of US and NK, when I am with NK, I nuked US submarine 4 times from a tank. At US side I nuked NK 1 time and once after my team took down half of NK HQ defenses down, I sneaked inside NK HQ base without killed. :D
I think Crysis multiplayer are much better and lots of funs than Half Life 2 multiplayer. :)
