OMG, I have to kill my cat!

Im sitting here drinkin a nice brew, eating some tasty beef stew.

my cat must have smelled it and it became his life's mission to mooch some.

before I can stop him, his 20 pound fat ass jumps up on my desk and knocks over the glass of beer.

it promptly flows across my desk, over the side, and down onto the subwoofer/amp of my z-680's.

I lunged for the power plug, but not before hearing static from my front left satellite.

Man I havent been this pissed in soooooo long.

I just cant look at my cat right now or Im gonna skin that fat lil bastige.

I cleaned it up and Im gonna let it dry overnight before trying them.

ohhhh man am I pissed.....:fu:

he spilled iced tea on my desk this morning.

I thought is was bad when he jumps in my face doing 200mph, door to door, in an online race wrecking 4 or 5 people who flamed me forever.

but this might hit me in the wallet. before you lay down tonight, say a prayer for my 680's!

It's not that bad...but make sure the sub is dry before you turn it on. I got a pair of Z560s myself and if any pets ever touch it, I'd barbecue 'em and eat them myself.

hrm don't you have your animals trained? A while ago I was at a friends house. Usually we lan on Sundays and get pizza and wings and what not. Usually his dog sitting and looks and you but it knows ITS PLACE and does nothing else. The dog is not starving its got a dish FULL of food. So anyways I am reading the booklet to C&C 2 and eating a slice of pizza while it is installing and I hear this noise. It sounds like a low growl. I look over at the god and it sits there doing nothing. So I go back to the book and then I hear this growling noise again and I look down the dog is growling and bearing its teeth a bit.

So I look it straight in the eyes and in a very firm and angry voice I say "back the **** off or I am going to kill you ****ing dog." Now of course the dog can't understand what I am saying but they can actually SMELL fear and that is important to remember.

My friend sees this and starts to usher the dog out of the room. And it BITES HIM! Now this is not some crazy mutt that he picked up from the vet like 2 weeks ago they had this dog since it was a pup. So why does they dog think it can do this? Because they spoil it. My friend just sorta laughed then took the dog out side. I told him that he need to teach his dog who the "master" of the house is. Cuase I used to have dogs and they NEVER would have biten me EVER. And if they dog was mine I would have taught it the meaning of the words "boot ****."

I also told my friend later that I will not resitate at all to kill his animal if it ever so much as looks at me wrong again.

man, that hard cat food doesnt even smell good. dont think I would eat it. they dont seem to mind though. they do get a can of cat food every day for variety.

My cat "Chance" and his sister "Buttercup" have managed to destroy at least one set of PC speakers for me so far in their short existance (they'll be two in August, we got 'em at about 4 weeks) and I actually was thankful for it.

I had a really sh!tty 2 speaker set-up that came with the PC, I replaced it with an Altec-Lansing 2.1 set-up that I found for $33us new.

The 6" long-throw sub-woofer STILL blows me away!

My wife is ridiculously tight fisted about upgrades, but repair and emergency replacements are an entirely different matter! (She knows I ain't no fun when one of the systems are down, plus we sort of count on all four systems working to keep everyone happy. ;) ) When something breaks I instantly get free-reign to order a replacement part, and I always make sure whatever I replace I get the best value I can on, (I'm weird that way :rolleyes: ), so it always tends to be a bit nicer than what it's replacing. :)

I can NOT abuse this privelage by forcing accidents. Oh, I probably COULD...but she's so cool about her end of it that I feel I gotta be cool on mine. (Again, I'm weird that way)

But the cats...the cats are me friends. ;)

I think I'm gonna start rubbing some catnip on my cheap Cyber-accoustics 4.1 set-up on Bubbles that I bought on the cheap before I knew anything about speakers.... ;) (Catnip might be technically cheating a bit...but I really hate my CA speakers! :p )

Cats really do have 9lives and once you kill a cat you can never go back. When I was small I had a little cat which I literally tortured to death. I would sit on him, throw, kick, hurl him threw the air and into bushes, you name it and I did it. I would perform live operations and tests on my fishes, scream at my birds to the point where they stopped screeching and jumped at the mare site of me.

I was young and now that I am older I cant help but think that what I did to that cat and my other animals will getting me some good poking in my after life.:(

i was gonna stick myself in the microwave the other week. i knocked over a bottle of beer and it went into my logitech navigator keyboard. and fooked it.

I was having lockups, uninstalling hydravision fixed it for me.

i also have fw disabled, but I might re-enable it and see what happens. no performance diff anyhow.
