View Full Version : Surround speaker mount question

Having my new X-Fi, I'm looking into (finally) getting surround sound for my PC, probably a relatively cheap 5.1 system.

My problem is this: I can't permanently mount the rear surround speakers behind me, both due to the configuration of the room my PC is in, and a VERY low WAF for such a project. So, I need some type of mounts that can be moved out of the way. I'm looking at some speaker stands (like this (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5019646)) that I could just move out when gaming and move back out of the way afterward, but I thought I remember seeing some setup with arms that come from the desk, overhead, and position the speakers in the air behind you. The arms then fold out of the way when not in use. I can't find anything like this anywhere, though.

Does anyone know what I mean and where I could find something similar, or another alternative?
