Does the current nforce2 board from abit (nf7-s) support the new 400mhz barton athlon xp processor? I know it supports ddr400 just wondering if it supported the 400mhz fsb. I have been reading about a new nforce2 (possibly 3) board coming out to support this processor but yet i read in some forums that the current nforce2 board supports it. Just wanted everyones input to help me decide to buy this board or not.

the NF7-S looks to be THE board to have now that ASUS lost their Cert from nV...

if you want to do 200MHz FSB, you should make sure to get the v1.2 or even better the v2.0 of the board. The early versions had issues with 200MHz FSB (ALL nF2s did really)

nope, there's a 1.2, and a new 2.0...

I just put together a rig for my bud with the new 2.0. If I remember correctly, it has the new C1 rev of the nF2 chipset, the 1.2 has the A3 rev...

i had the luck of the draw on the 1.0s, hit 225fsb with no vmods...

as for my 1.2 board, i fried it, so i had to revert back to my 1.0

as of currently 217fsb seems to be the most stable, surviving prime and 3dmark loops
