Realtime software AC3/DTS Encoder

Can someone recommend me a realtime software AC3/DTS encoder that does in software what the original Soundstorm soundcard did in hardware on the first Nforce motherboard by decoding all sounds to Dolby Digital on the fly. Does such a thing exist cause I really don't know where to begin looking.

Your best bet is a sound card like this:
