Ive got a desire to spend money and have thus come up with this basket :D

Anything I should change?

I want the ram because some games are taking all my 2gb up :(

I want another 500gb because I have run out of space on my other ones.

I want the HDDs laptop because I need them lol

The HR-03 because.......well you get it

The Xbox HD dvd for.............films :headexplode:
The Bluray for films
The quad core for future proof

The fans because they are useful.

Are there any that have better makes etc

Why get a normal 80GB Drive? Why not a raptor? Also those 120mm fans are going to suck... I never heard of the brand and being a 4 pack I dout the quality will be there. Laptop to Desktop adapter cable?

LED Fans are lame and crappy about 98% of the time.

and whats up with the generic 450w PSU?

Few years ago I came home with a bundle pack of 120mm LED fans. I was so proud to find such a bargain locally. I was going to mod my aging Beige Box :o

Loudest fans I've ever heard! Luckily at 5 volt they were pretty quiet, but the LEDs dimmed so much there was no point.

IF you NEED LED fans, go with Antec, they have inbuilt speed controls which don't dim the LEDs.

whoops need to clear a few things up ;)

The psu is for an old crappy rig. (P4 @ 4.7ghz, 2gb DDR2, X300)
im getting the fans because they are cheaper than a movie rental and may come in useful...

the 2x80gb hdd are Laptop hdds ;) As far as I know there arnt any 2.5" ide raptor HDD ;)

Ive got a new thing to add though :D

OMG! So nice :D. Im going to give my NZXT Lexa to my sister as a uni present ::D (thats who the p4 pc is for. Should be fast enough for films, internet, msn etc)

NOW im pissed off

My dad has put his foot down :( (even though its my money)

He says its a total waste go buy both HD-DVD & Blu-Ray. He told me to choose, saying I might as well spend the money saved on DVD's.

So the most asked question: HD-DVD or Blu-ray.

Depends which company makes the best movies
I notice Transformers for instance is 10 extra rrp on HD, same would go the other way around I guess.

I think BD has the better quality picture and I'd choose that for storage

Price is the same either way as you'll need software to play HD-DVD
