i don't have one but i'd say my 3 are the sega saturn, playstation 1, and the super nes i guess.

i'm excluding several unpopular systems in this poll, including, but not limited to:
the jaguar/jag cd
the 3do
the neogeo cd/aes
the master system
all portables
all of the current generation's consoles
anything before the pc-engine/turbo
the cd-i
the m2
and whatever else i'm forgetting

tough choice between the N64 and SNES, but in the end I had to go with the N64. The Ocarina of Time is the most revolutionary gaming experience every conceived, and you've still got a lot of great games like Majora's Mask and Mario 64.

But man, did the SNES have some rockin games.

I'll go SNES for single player and two player.

Saturn Bomberman is AWESOME with a multitap, right now I've got the S-Bomb 6 player multitap and the 7 player games are ridiculous. I'm strongly considering getting a 4 player multitap to get some 10 player games going.

nightmare, you need to let the early 90's go, that was over 15 years ago. it's time to move on........

It's hard to decide which one is your favorite console because the games make the console. Therefore, I voted for the N64 just because of Goldeneye. The best FPS for the console world IS Goldeneye. You can't beat getting 4 friends together and play Goldeneye MP.

Also, Mario 64 and Zelda OOT were very fun. Crusin USA was a classic.

I loved my PlayStation. I wore that puppy out.

I played MarioKart 64 and Goldeneye until my eyes bled. N64.

Most of you were little kids when the SNES came out, so naturally you will say it waz teh uber.

I was a little kid when the Atari 2600 was out. :)

My father even had modded it, circa 1983ish. He had made a custom PCB for a cartridge that had an interchangeable socket with release lever. He had around 60 games on 16 pin EEPROMs that you could swap out easily.

I said SNES was the best because it had the most memorable games. I still play my SNES regularly to this day. Not true of any other old console.

1.) Snes
2.) Saturn
3.) Dreamcast

Snes takes the no.1 spot without hesitation though, super tecmo bowl 3, donkey kong country, final fantasy 3, super punch out, I could go on and on....

I really hope they FINALLY make a new punch-out game on wii.

2. PS2

Dreamcast, why?
- internet/online features
- keyboard and mouse
- fishing rod and light gun
- the games, just hundreds of great titles
- homebrew software
- my quake mods for it
- the design
- the boot screen
- not the controller ;)
- the (under-used) vmu

Yeah Dreamcast deserves a mention for sure. I miss that old thing, I shouldn't have sold it. :(

The N64 was a pretty revolutionary system in my eyes, and it was dang fun too!
