163.71 Beta

Improves Hellgate London beta DX10 performance (for me anyway) by around 50%ish. Used to get 17 - 20 fps in open area instances, now getting 28-35.

So they are more than just the 163.69s with added SLI profiles? Thats good news as I'm getting "display driver not responding" crashes with WiC. :(

I was having the problem with the empty control panel with this one in Vista64. Went back to 163.44.

Restarting the "Software Licensing" service will fix that. Searching around the web the problem originally appeared to be isolated to those using NVIDIA hardware but I've seen some posts from users running servers without anything NVIDIA and the problem still crops up. Hope MS comes out with a bug-fix soon cause its annoying.

YOU WILL HAVE TO EDIT NVAPPS.XML file to make it work with nHancer

Also didn't know Vista used the ProgramData's XML file, thanks again.
Now that nHancer is working, everything is right in the world again.

MS already fixed it. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936686/en-us (you have to request the hotfix so that they send it by mail though).
