You misspelled resolution with the slug (g=t) word, didn't you?

I haven't heard anything yet.

And how do you not experience rediculous core temps with that voltage and cooler? With OC in my sig and Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme + 1200rpm Silenx fan, CPU cores at 1.256 volts, I get 63 degs C ave on cores at full load, only 2 degs off maximum recommended core temp!

I get 71c at full load but that is prime and there is not a single app, game etc that I use or that I even know of that pushes all 4 cores like that. I dont fold, encode vid etc. I play games and record music. My idle temps are around 39-41c. I have run prime for 13 hours and it reached 71c. I am not worried about it at all. We are talking core temps and not the cpu case temps right ? Intel spec says the chips can take 70c cpu case temp which would be around 85c core. As long as I dont get near that I dont care.

It appears that we are both mistaken on this front, I did more research and I found that with B3 stepping:

Q6600: Tcase Max 62c, B3 Stepping, Tjunction Max 100c, Vcore Max 1.372, TDP 105w, Delta 10c

G0 Stepping:

Q6x00: Tcase Max 71c, G0 Stepping, Tjunction Max 100c, Vcore Max 1.372, TDP 95w, Delta 10c

Source (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/221745-11-core-temperature-guide)

So the max case temp is 62c for my B3 stepping. Which means the max core temp is roughly 72c, taking a 10c difference in core to case temp. I am assuming you have a G0 stepping, otherwise you are right on the red line!

Also with regards to loading up the cores, play Supreme Commander and you will see them cores load up. :)
