A new infestation perhaps. This is the first time I've seen this.

Where's evilghost? Does someone have his email address?

It seems like a more intrusive version of the intelletext ads. If you get close to the highlighted words it comes up. It's not too much worse...

Capt, seriously, quit using IE.

Capt, seriously, quit using IE.

It popped up for me using Firefox earlier. In this thread, where Capt mentions "email", the word was double underlined and the popup appeared like the intelletext ones do.

I never have gotten anything like that.

I guess AdBlock+ takes care of it all. :)

I'm using AdBlock Plus. It's not popping up, they come up whenever you rollover text that are underlined.

It isn't for me.

It's random on which words it selects. If you load the page enough eventually you might see it.

I hate ads on most sites, but love them here. Sometimes I accidentally click on them, and that's a good thing. I love this site.

I know what you're talking about, but haven't seen any in months on my systems.

I'm using IE6 and nothing pops up, unless I move the cursor over it.

Obviously the selected text is random..

The revenue from those ads keep this site going. Sure it's a bit annoying but if it helps MikeC. pay the bills then I'm all for it.

I find those ads annoying as hell, but I love teh nVNews, so I can live with 'em. :D

This type of advertising is found on a lot of major websites anyways, so get used to it, much like nVidia dominating the graphics world.
