Is there a utility that can set ata100 mode while in WindowsXP? I've got 2 WD drives that could really use the change, that and I don't have a floppy drive.

On the other side, is there a way to boot with a USB key, in place of a floppy, on an NForce2 board?

What are they running at now? Do you have the NVIDIA IDE drivers installed? If not, go into device manager under the properties of your primary (or secondary) IDE channel, depending on where you have the hard drives installed. In the advanced properties there should be a listing of the drives and it should say what mode they're currently running in. Windows is pretty good at automatically setting the drives maximum speed, though.

I'm running Windows XP Pro now, but I thought you had to set the ATA mode with the Western Digital untilities?
