The score makes it look as if it were quite easy but let me tell you ... it was everything but easy.

You've got some very fierce defenders. You're defensive structures are the only thing that let you down last night.

And I must tell you, that right winger of yours, Takudzwa Ngwenya, is frikkin fast.
Electric winger Ngwenya left the Springboks with red faces when he burnt off Habana, reputedly the fastest man in rugby, sprinting around him to finish off a terrific 85m try just before halftime.

The rest of the world can be grateful that you Americans busy yourself with your own American football otherwise you would have dominated the sport entirely.

Rugby is yet another sports that the world threw at Australia, Australia perfected it and proceeded to own everyone else with our skills. :D

Rugby (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugby_union)

Both Rugby Union (worldwide) and Rugby League (Australia/New Zealand) are far more brutal than American Football, but have more rules and punishable offences.

USA didn't go down without a fight. The team has made serious progress in the past few years.

I mean no offence to anyone who likes rugby and to our rugby team.

The truth is that no one in the US cares about rugby except the US rugby team and its family.

No offence, but the only people who cares about American football are Americans. I don't see it ever becoming an international sport whereas rugby are being developed in many countries.

American football is a much more developed derivative of Rugby.

I mean no offence to anyone who likes rugby and to our rugby team.

+1
Add non-American football to the list as well.

3. Japan has the 4th largest number of registered rugby players in the world (125,508), behind only England, South Africa and France.

Listen, I'm not trying to get into an argument of Rugby vs American football. All I'm saying is that the fanatical support behind it has more to do with a celebration of being American than with it being a sport played with a ball.

I mean, why do you sing your national anthem at a sporting event when the BOTH teams ARE American.

Exactly my point of it being more a celebration of being American and not so much about it being a sport.
