corrupted recycle bin?

Every time I open my Recycle Bin my computer begins to lag horrible and it takes forever to open it. I tryed emptying it multiple times and even renamed the recycler folder so windows can create a new one but it still lags very bad.

have you tried resetting the recycle bin, How many drives u got, can you use a different one for the bin?

to be honest i really dont know, i right clicked on it and clicked on empty recycle bin and expected a lag but it just didnt happen. then i opened it and it opened fine. maybe my computer needed to be restarted after i made a new recyler folder, because i noticed it working fine a few hours after i restarted my computer
