My current signature is what my computer is going to be tomorrow because that is when my hardware is coming. I am not sure whether I should stay with XP or go to Vista. What do you guys think? Thanks!

interesting configuration you got going there CDE...

what made you chose the P4 over an AMD based platform?

I have a Pentium because thats what I had before my new setup with the 8800. I wanted to save money so I stayed with Intel because in the future, I could always upgrade to a Core 2 Duo or something. I like Intel better because they make faster processors and use the latest technology.

Thats what I'm thinking is a better idea.

Go for Vista if u plan another update (Core 2 Duo/Quad) and if SP1/2 is released :)

If you have XP stick with it untill you get a new processor. If you're going to have to buy a copy, get Vista. It would kinda be a waste to buy XP now only to upgrade CPUs, then have to buy Vista.

Dual boot & run both!

I run XP for gaming & Vista cos it's pretty, comparing the two gaming performance wise, XP is streets ahead.
