Just wondered which are the best models out there. I am aware of senheiser's very expensive models, but i was wondering if there is anything more affordable that would give good performance, preferable between 50-100, or 100-175.
Thanks

Dont know the best but I went to Officemax and purchased a $35 Logitech Premium Headset that seems to work great. I had no complaints with the voice quality and the earpiece quality was pretty dam decent for the price I payed.

I recommend it unless you don't mind spending more.

Either HD555 or HD595 if you an afford it. They're fantastic. If you don't have the money for either of these, save up some more :)

I just got Creatives HS-900 and think it sounds fantastic.
Got very great review here in Sweden :)

Really god bass and clarity, it totaly blows away my old Zalman 5.1 and coupled with X-fi CMSS3D the surround is awsome.

Dont know about the Sen HD555 but they are extremely popular but cost way more.

Im very happy with these and cant belive it sound so good and the mic is of great quality to so chem them out!

Stick with senheisser and buy to your limit, You get what you pay for.

Oh MAN!!! I could have got these HD555's for 50 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230176044470:banghead:

I have the Zalman 5.1 surrounds specifically for gaming. I am not an audiophile, so I have not compared to high quality audio set like the Sennheiser for super fidelity testing, but for 3D gaming, they're great. Each ear has 3 separate speakers for true audio positioning.

Makes the wife really happy she doesn't have to hear me play.

Wish it had a boom mic though. Am trying to mod one to make a clip on.
